last saturday night several of us went to the hillsong united concert here in são paulo.

so nearly six months ago, i remember writing on my blog that i experienced a night i would never forget. it was when my friend leticia was baptized at zoe. it was a beautiful service. but i could not have imagined then all that god would do in the near future. at zoe, those who are being baptized are given the opportunity to ask those who were influential in leading them to christ to baptize them. one of my really good friends, thiago, recently became a christian about 3 months ago. he asked me last week if i would baptize him. i never imagined i would be baptizing my new brother in christ. god is so beyond me.

so tonight at zoe, we baptized 7 students. each student was able to share their testimony of how jesus has changed their lives. it was an awesome night.

sean and i went to a costume party with some friends from SENAC last saturday night. everyone was supposed to go dressed as a character from a movie. we were going for eminem from 8 mile. not sure that we pulled it off, but the party was cool. bastante fun. more pictures to come...

after finding out some of our friends at SENAC (a university here in são paulo) had never had pancakes, we knew had work to do. we invited them over to our house today for lunch. bethany helped us out a lot. here's a few pictures colby took.
